Dreamtank - In Progress (2017)

Dream tank features multiple figures in the middle of a circular composition. The painting is both realistic and surreal. The synthetic and chromatically pure paints defy the traditionally painted figures, giving it an otherworldly and emotive air. The figure is confined by the circle, creating a repeating pattern of feet,  heads and hands.  The repeated figure is meant to evoke the passage of time as one segmented figure fades into the other and continues in a never ending loop. What does it mean? Don't think too hard. This piece was just an interesting and fun design to make and I thought it looked like the figure was in the middle of a crazy dream, so I named it Dreamtank. "Dreamtank" can be dislayed in any direction.
